This is a half day course for people working with children and young people in West Sussex.

This course is being delivered through a partnership between Coastal West Sussex Mind, West Sussex County Council and West Sussex CCGs.

Course Aims:

This event will give an overview of Tourette Syndrome and Tics, including some background information and basic neuroscience behind the conditions. There will be a focus upon exploring  participants' own direct or indirect experience of these conditions and discussing approaches and tools that can be helpful in managing the associated behaviours. We will look at environmental and emotional factors that impact tics and discuss broader treatment options as well. The session will be facilitated in a friendly, interactive style and audience participation is encouraged!


The course runs from 09:30 - 12:45


Please notify us ASAP if you are unable to attend the course. As this is a funded programme our aim is to ensure all available places are taken up. Early notification may mean we can offer this space to someone on our waiting list.
